Simple Methods to Create a Quicken ID
Method 1: Creating a Quicken ID using Quicken.com
- Go to https://www.quicken.com/
- Then click Sign In > My Account
- Click Create Account
- Now enter your email(will be your Quicken ID), phone number and create a password
- Then click Create Account
- Next screen prompts you to enter the 6 digit code for the verification
- You’ll receive a 6 digit code on the provided phone number. If you want to change the method to receive a code you can click on Email me a code instead or Call me with a call instead at the bottom on the same window
- Enter the code and click Submit
Now you can successfully login to the Quicken account and can update the rest of the information such as Name, Billing address, etc.
Note: The same process can be used for Mac users
Method 2: Create a Quicken ID using Quicken Software
- First, Download and Install Quicken on to your computer
- Once it’s completely installed it prompts you to Sign In. Instead of signing in click on Create Account
- Now enter your email(will be your Quicken ID), phone number and create a password
- Then click Create Account
- Next screen may prompt you to enter the 6 digit code for the verification
- You’ll receive a 6 digit code on the provided phone number. If you want to change the method to receive a code you can click on Email me a code instead or Call me with a call instead at the bottom on the same window
- Enter the code and click Submit
- Now you can sign in to the account to enjoy the functionality of Quicken.
Can I convert my Intuit ID to Quicken ID?
No, you need to create a new Quicken ID in order to access quicken.com, Quicken Mobile, Quicken Web, Quicken for Windows or Mac, etc. You can use your Intuit ID for intuit products such as Turbo Tax, QuickBooks, Mint, etc.
